Check it out. This is a new bonus track from my recent album " Inception ". It features Calvin Turner on bass, Lemar Carter on drums and Deron Johnson on keys. It was recorded and mixed by Lior Goldenberg but is not yet mastered. Horns might be added. As soon as it is complete and mastered I will make it available free to anyone who has purchased "Inception"!! Thanks again everyone for all the support!!

Yeah, I meant the album (soon as I saw Bemsha Swing listed). Sorry for confusion.
Had to leave the download running at work to get home but look forward to listening to it.

I really like that tune. It reminds me of Motown for some reason. Definitely add horns.

Thank you.....oh I hear horns for sure, just got to get it done. When I wrote it I was going for a Motown meets Sonny Rollins Saint Thomas vibe.

Josh, I think I dig this track more than the rest of the tunes on the record; cool vibe - very melodic in a diff way from the other songs.
Edit - I hear the St Thomas link, but the chord lines/structure reminds me of 70's Metheny.
What pickups are in your black Chapin Tele?

Thanks Todd! My Chapin tele has a lollar in the neck and a pickup Bill Chapin wound in the bridge....amazing.
On this tune though I'm playing my 68 Les Paul Special into my Bludotone 100w with fender Reverb and 2290 after the amp. Rhythm is my Chapin T straight into a UA 610 mic pre!
ps...i just watched Allen playing the bV on your site....ruling!!
