I'm a few years late on getting into this band. But I watched the documentary about them and it really got me into them. But the singers tragic end makes listening to them an emotional experience. Any other Gits fans on here?

I am a fan of The Gits from back in the 90s. Enter the Conquering Chicken is a pretty great, raw album, and Frenching the Bully was an auspicious debut. The Evil Stig stuff with Joan Jett and the boys is also well worth seeking out if you can find a recording of it.

I used to play "Social Love" and "Spear & Magic Helmet".

Mia Zapata was definitely a magnetic front-woman.

What happened to her is just horrific, and thinking about it is making me sad all over again as I type this. I'm just glad they finally solved the crime.
