Would you put it before your gain and distortion pedals or after?

I always have it first in line

depends what you want it to do...
for "more dirt" boost, put it before your drive.
for "more volume" boost, put it after (your amp needs clean headroom though)
for buffer, put it wherever sounds best.

Just wanted to hear some opinions, Is it better to Boost a signal before or after gain or distortion?

It's a matter of taste. The RC has worked well for me both before and after, but I usually prefer it after. No correct answer on this one, though. It's a matter of what you need the RC to do. As noted above, placed before an OD, a clean boost won't boost your volume much -- it mainly increases the amount of distortion. Placed after an OD, you get a volume boost, but about the same amount of distortion.

I prefer it before. But, it is a matter of taste.

I like to run mine before my LTD SR. Use the RC only for lower gain, LTD for medium gain, or both for even more gain.

If you really like your base tone, here is something you can try too; Use the RC first as a slightly gritty/sparkle tone enhancer and use your OD as a solo boost.

After. Makes things louder and you can also turn up the gain knob if you want to add more gain.
I usually boost the gain level slightly (9 o'clock), increase the volume to a good solo level, then subtract a little treble and add a little bass. Gives me a big smooth solo tone.
