National Lampoon albums of the '70's/'80's Appreciation Thread!

Radio Dinner, That's Not Funny..... That's Sick!, Lemmings!, The White Album, Goodbye Pop etc....

Anyone remember these? Very funny stuff from the time before the interwebs, youtube and video games.........

I was in Junior High when Radio Dinner was released, and man, I loved that album. In retrospect, I don't think I understood a lot of the political/social commentary humor on the album at that age, but "Deteriorata" and "Catch It and You Keep It" were about the funniest things I'd ever heard.

I'd love to find that album on CD to hear it from my now fifty-something perspective, but I guess it's never been released.

Big fan of "That's Not Funny...That's Sick" in the '70s. Dick Ballentine had me howling...

"Yeah, Dick, I'm downtown - where can I take a leak at this hour?"
"You got a balloon on ya, pal?"

And the infamous "Mr. Roberts' Neighborhood" is truly classic.

That is probably my favorite, but Lemmings, Radio Dinner and the White Album definitely get nods......

The song parodies are great overall....
