AND i AM LOVING IT!!!! :bow:bonk:love::dude

Man, this PWE Event Horizon is absolutely BADASS!!! Every time I dig a little deeper, I find even more to love about this amp. I am pretty jaded when it comes to amps, I have had a TON of different pieces over the years.
This time I am using a 1@3 splitter and going in to a Carbon Copy [GREAT pedal!!]. I am using the loop to tame volumes and am running both channels hard. Club volume perfection. Everything I want on demand, it is there..

Now, the gain..
I usually play with lower gain, and I am sure when my project starts coming together in the new year, I will be backing off a bit, but..
I am getting such note separation and clarity, such a MEAN :Devil grind that is still SO sweet  sounding. The fullness, the clarity, the waxy yet chunky resonance... Sounds like the amp is screaming full bore and it is a thing of beauty. With backing off on the guitar and some of the overall levels of the amp controls, I am increasing the resonance/deep knob and it is putting such a huge footprint down at perfectly listenable volumes. Absolutely the BEST Marshally/hotrod-with-a-sweet-twist tones I have ever played or heard. Amp is intuitive and feels like a part of me. Absolutly blown away. This amp and my R8 are a match made in heaven :Devil
The only amp I am gassing for at this point is the 1000 watt version.
Carry on

MY buddy and I were up @ Tone Merchants today mucking with My Carol Ann and his Bludo.

There is a PWE Event Horizon there. Really cool amp!!!! Very cool tones with the varied Tachyon settings.

Killer Amp for you Plexi types. tube buffered EFX Loop.

The Freidman Dirty Shirley is a knockout amp in the same vain though not as complex and arguably lower gain than the other Rack Systems/Marsha amps.

No reflection on the PWE, but I just had too many amps. I kept the Two Rock for my 2 channel needs. Plus, I got a bitchin' Baker 3 minihum guitar in the deal!

Sitting here in my office with the delay in the loop and mic'ing the cab for some reverb in my monitors.
Cleans are absolutely beautiful too!

Sig worthy, very sig worthy.

I hope I get the chance to check out the Event Horizon sometime, sounds like it's right up my alley.

There is no "too much", just better or worse kinds of distortion!

I think the Two Rock Gales is one amazing amp. I have both a Gales and a PWE 100 watter and given the choice of one, I would opt for the gales too. That said I love the PWE .No slight towards the PWE at all but the Gales has some really amazing tones as well.:JAM

I really only need to keep one great channel switcher, both kick ass, but the EG is more "my" tone.
