Hi guys, I'd like to know if it's possible to set the "Tempo parameter" in the scenes setup as a tap tempo parameter (f.e. at whole notes): i would like to change scenes during a song, but most of my delay effects are "tap" based...Do i have to "re-tap" everytime I change scene ?
Bye
Alberto

Yes, you have to "re-tap" after a scene change.

That issue was discussed over the line6 forum and you just have to wait until a future firmware update comes and hope it's included.

You have a couple of options. You could actually set your effects to a ms setting and that is static. The other option is to pre-set your taps. Since each scene remembers what you tapped last, you could preset the tap before the tune or the gig and they'd be waiting for you when you loaded that scene again.

There should be a couple of workarounds, like (haven't tried it) using an external midi clock or those described in your post, but currently there is no bluit-in option to a "global tap".

Yeah, the fact that the tempo changes in latch-scene mode is really frustrating. They need to hurry up with an update, it's been over a year since the last.

Well, then maybe it's not a problem for me!
I'd like to use some presets for rhythm (someone with delay w/tap) and one for solo (no tap), but i don't use different rhytm preset during the same song.
I'll try to explain: if in the same song i switch between rhytm (for ex. scene 1 with tap) and solo (scene 2), when i switch back to scene 1 i don't have to tap again because scene 1 "remembers" my last tap...that's right ?
Thanks, bye

ps. i'm waiting my m13: i had it some months ago and sold it (never used scenes, i used it just as a couple of single effects), but then boght it again because it's really a great unit :bonk

Well, in that case it's no problem.

Actually, I setup my scenes with the same tempo to overcome this, but as soon as you try to follow your drummer you will face it again.

Anyway, if you setup any effect to sync with tempo, remember to press the tap button once after you activate the selected effect, as this will re-sync it.

If you tap more than once the unit will recalculate the tempo based on your tap speed (the difference between the last tap and the one before it), if you tap just once it will re-sync your fx to the current tempo (at least with the current firmware).
