I have been thinking about building one, and wondered if anyone else has built one? Just a simple switching pedal with 2 TB switches and 3 switchcraft jacks, one led, and a case.

Yep, I've made a few.
Between this:

and this:

it could be figured out...

If you use LEDs, do not connect any part of the lighting circuit to ground. It creates major popage.

thanks for the wiring pics, I think I can make one.
I was reading on the ground issues too.
Is there a TGP local that makes them?

this1smyne doesn't show an A/B/Y, but he probably builds them.

A/B/Y boxes look real simple. I was worried about noise so I had loopmaster build me one for $65 instead. Cute little box. I may open it up and put together a plan to make an A/B/Y with tuner out. I hear shielding is the key to quietness if your are doing a passive box Good Luck.

:wave $65 is a lot pricier Than I wanted right now, but maybe later.... or do you make a slim version for cheaper? even one with no led's?

This is real simple. Just solder the "Y" jack tip, to the A & B's tip. And same for all the jack sleeves. Pull out either the A or B plug to turn off that side. LOL. I just whipped this up one day whilst rigging up a stereo rig. Had the parts lying around. About $10 worth.

nice, I want a foot swichable one though. all I would need is your parts, plus a foot switch. where did you order your parts?

Pedals parts plus. Wiring the switch is the hard part.

It hard to build something for dirt cheap anymore.. if you have some stuff laying around it helps.. but if you had to go buy all the parts.. its not hard to spend 50.00
and don't make the mistake of buy cheap junky parts.. spend the little extra for the better quality parts...
what you put in.. is what you'll get out...

true, I was pricing it all, and looks like $20 just for parts. but beats $50-$65 for someone to build it.

Not to resurrect an old thread, but this1smyne sells one, footswitchable with LED's for $49 + shipping. Loop-master's is $53ish. Both have them on their websites.
