Anyone making one?

Does it need to be a double cutaway? If not, and if the neck specs work for you, the Epi Elitist Chet Atkins/Country Deluxe is a very nice semi hollow single cutaway with a 25.5" scale maple neck.

I wish! I got a semi-hollow Tele with 2 humbuckers to approximate it. It's not the same, of course, not even close. But that's always been my issue with Gibsons. Love the sound, hate the scale length.

The Hofner Thinline is 25.5" scale.
The German Mfgd. ones are very nice.

Not a custom build or high end guitar, but the imported Korean Made Hamer Echotones are 25.5 scale. (the newer Made In China ones are shorter scale and are crap.)

For a full-on custom instruments with carved plates, I'd ask:
1. Brian Monty to make a Blues Queen with a long scale
2. BCKingston to make a Fusion with a long scale
3. Tom Ribbecke to make a Testadura with a long scale (but Tom's a bit pricey these days)
4. Heritage will be happy to make you a 535 or 555 with a 25.5" scale, according to Jim Deurloo.
--------
OR, get a luthier to re-neck any of the following laminated guitars with a long-scale neck. Way cheaper:
1. Gibson ES-335
2. Heritage H-535
3. late-model Guild Starfire IV
--------
If you are simply looking for a long-scale semi with a sort-of ES-335 vibe:
Double-cutaway:
- Eastwood Joey Leone (made in Korea)
- Duesenberg Fullerton CC (Made in Korea, assembled in Germany)
- Hofner Verythin Classic / Verythin JS / Verythin Evolution (made in Germany) - out of production
- Verythin Standard (made in Germany) - out-of-production
- Crafter AE-SEG480TM
Single-cutaway:
- Duesenberg 440 (Made in Korea, assembled in Germany)
- Yamaha AES1500
- Gibson Chet Atkins Tennessean (made in USA), out-of-production
- Gibson Chet Atkins Country Gentleman (made in USA), out-of-production.
- Epi Elitist Chet Atkins/Country Deluxe (made in Japan), as mentioned above

Consider....
Gibson Johnny A
Sadowsky Semihollow had a few with that scale; most are 24-3/4

I think at least some of the Trini Lopez Gibsons were made with 25 1/2. A quite nice looking guitar too.

That's a Stevens Classic to be correct.
The Neo Classic has a carved top and flat back

More Fender than Gibson with a longer scale, bolt-on, 6-in-line, and Tele controls...but semi-hollow with a TOM and Stop Bar. Kind of unique in it's own right, but I have always been more of a "Fender Guy", and this model fits me fine.
Come with P90s, Humbuckers, or Filtron-type pickups. The BCC really thickens things up (or thins it) should you want

I went to the Stevens website. Wow. Both really nice looking guitars in the ES-335 vein.

I have to admit to being a Stevens fanboy. I have both the Classic and Neo Classic with 25.5" scale

Great guitar, but its 24.75" scale.
The John Scofield Ibanez Sig Model .... great guitar!!
I was talking with Ted Megas a while back and he said he was interest in making a double cutaway archtop. I'm pretty sure he would want to use solid woods on it and not sure about the center block, but you could ask him. He builds a very nice guitar. I think Bill Comins recently built a guitar like this also...

My Monty 7 is a semi 25.5. Now keep in mind that 25.5 makes a big difference in the sound. 25.5 will make it sound somewhat like Strat 335 hybrid.

I believe both Gibson Trini Lopez models std and custom were 24 & 3/4" scale length. Barney Kessels were 25 & 1/2" if memory serves me right.

Not quite a 335: it has a two-inch deep fully hollow body, no f-holes, and two mini-humbuckers. But if you can find a ’60s Epiphone Al Caiola you'll probably think it's a keeper. I think it's one of the last great bargains in the vintage world, even if prices have gone up a bit lately.
Otherwise the Johnny A might be your best bet.

Another "not quite a 335" but in the same camp is Hamer's Monaco:

The Newport is closer to a 335 but with a 24-3/4" scale.

I have trouble playing anything other than a 25.5 scale to fit my fingers in. My Monty's (full size arch top, acoustic and custom 2" deep arch top without F holes are all 25.5 scale. His blues queen at a 25.5 scale would likely be in line of what your looking for.

Yamaha SA503. Discontinued now, but pretty sure it's 25.5". 3 P-90s and a Bigsby. All kinds of awesome.

Another option that once was on Brian Monty's site is to reneck a 335 Gibgon bass. This way you get the real 335 with the scale you like.

Stevens has a drawer full of scale/fret templates that I believe were digitally
corrected/tempered. My Classic on the Stevens website (also as does Ultra's) has a Fender scale, Mann Made spring style vibrato, and coil splitters. Best of the Fender and Gibson worlds - does both worlds well.
My #1 is a Hamer Monaco and my $2 is a Monaco III.
Of course these have solid spruce tops and there they naturally part ways w/ a 335.
But, nonetheless, I can't recommend these highly enough!
Also I have a Jaros semi that has a 25" scale that's good for that 335 sound with slightly more scale length.

Heritage introduced the 25 1/2" scale H-535 at last years Winter NAMM show. If I remember right it was the one that Johnny Hiland kept coming back to play - I saw him at the booth twice playing the same guitar. It was either the new long scale 535 or a stock 535.

I'm not a fan of the loose feeling/sounding 24-3/4" scale length either. I was toying with the idea of having my local guy build me an L5S type guitar, but with a bolton neck and hollow chambers. Then I thought of a Johnny A. I bought a used one from Gruhn's. It doesn't sound like a 335 but it does sound great and gives you a bit of the hollow sound. My main concern is how long will the strings go before breaking, it has a pretty sharp angle over the bridge. The strings even contact the bridge before going down to the Bigsby. So far I've only played it on one gig. At the end of the night, after the crowd stopped clapping I said out loud "Should I keep it?". 3 or 4 of the bandmembers immediately shouted out "Keep it!". I'm liking this guitar quite a bit. After I wear down the frets I'll get SS frets and a Plek job. One thing about this guitar is it's much lighter than my old 347 and Lucille.
The next problem is a gig bag. I ordered a Reunion Blues semi-hollow gig bag. It'll be pretty loose in there but I don't have much choice because I hate carrying around a hard shell case. The cases get too beat up!

Those Stevens are awsome. Too rich for my blood though. I peak out at about 4g before it hits the "I'll never spend that much" range. Regardless, those look like my ideal guitars.

+1 on Duesenberg.
I have a Starplayer TV I adore. it's a bit bigger than an LP, maple neck, spruce top, maple back and sides and best of all... TWENTY FIVE AND A HALF INCH SCALE! Great build quality, but they can be a bit pricey... shop around. Ebay is your friend... so is The Music Zoo (http://www.themusiczoo.com/category/9400/Duesenberg-Guitars/).
They also make a Fullerton (bigger than an LP, Starplayer sized double cutaway), Fullerton CC (double cut) and a CC (single cut). great guitars.
If you are willing to go carved out, rather than laminated//carved back & top... check out PRS, some of their hollow bodies are quite impressive. I've had the pleasure of playing some... they range from very nice to mind-blowing.
Lastly, Collings makes the I35 and the SoCo delux... but they are 24 7/8 scale. not Gibson, and not Fender... not even the traditional 25 inch scale for most Jazz guitars. Oh, Benedetto, too, but that will break the bank.
I have to admit to being a Stevens fanboy. I have both the Classic and Neo Classic with 25.5" scale
