Yes! Standard Mullard tube, "Knight" was the house brand of Allied Radio "The Worlds Largest Electronic Supply House" (cf Allied, 1957) of Chicago, Illinois.

The '50s, '60s Allied catalogs are a Mullard lover's delight, then and now.

To answer that question, we'd need more information:

What are the etched codes (http://www.tube-classics.de/TC/Tubes/Valvo/Phlipscode.htm) on the side of the tube?

And what is the condition of the tube - were you provided test results?

I think Knight made mostly PA tube amps.

I think Knight made mostly PA tube amps.

Knight was sort of a brand name of allied electronics, they made all kinds of electronic devices, even test equipment. Often on many items you could purchase them in either kit, or factory built.

I have a Knight tube tester & a signal generator from a shop buyout.

I've pulled lots of quality tubes out of old PA amps-----i recently got an old Knight 32 watt PA head and it had two RCA Blackplate 6L6GC's, an RCA 5U4GB, and two Amperex Bugle Boy 12ax7's (Holland w/delta etch)--- all tubes appear to be very low hrs and test great. I was hoping for some good RCA 12ax7a's but got the Bugle Boys instead
Also had a Japanese (?) 6c4.
I've pulled good Blackburn Mullard ecc83's out of Bogens, too.............gldtp99

The people like Eico and Knight and Heath all used Mullard and/or Telefunken dual triodes in their test equipment because they are very stable and that's what you need in a bridge circuit.

One of the best scores I have gotten was sixteen brand new smooth plate Telefunkens that were marked "Grass Equipment Co."-a maker of polygraphs.

It does say "Blackburn" on the tube.
