I'm wondering about how much to fix a Heritage G12H30. Too, how much does a re-cone job devalue the speaker? I'm thinking it may not be worth the cost verses the price of a good used speaker. :dunno

From that website, it looks cheap enough, but with a 'clone' recone kit, it will probably effect the value.

Might be less hassle to just buy new?

Yeah, I think I'd be tempted to buy the Weber clone and then sell the Celestion. Bet you'd still get a decent penny out of it.

$95 plus shipping and handling.... that pretty much kills it. May as well buy two used ones for what I'd have wrapped up in re-cones. ok thanks.

$95? Did I misread it? I though it was $65 plus shipping.

All other brands:
8", 10"................................ US$55 plus shipping and handling.
12" ..................................... US$65 plus shipping and handling.
15" ..................................... US$75 plus shipping and handling.

Orange County Speaker on the West Coast does excellent work. A G12H complete rebuild would be $75 there. http://www.speakerrepair.com/ocsrepairprice.html
