PRS, Suhr or any other boutique manufacturer wishing to expand: Product Development, Marketing and Licensing. In fact, this would be something I'd like to pursue now!

Good call, I'd say Reverend too, but in the design department. More colors, and more pickups. Design a guitar with Firebird style pickups. Maybe bring back the American built guitars as a specialty guitar, in limited numbers.

Gibson - as the CEO. :aok

I wouldn't mind winding pickups or being the guy that boxes up the guitars right before they get put on the UPS truck or anything in-between.

I'd love to be a rep or demo guy for just about any guitar/amp/effects company that would hire me.I've been doing online demos for a local store for the past year and have helped sell some incredible guitars. From PRS Dragons to Murphy LP RIs to vintage Fenders and more. Not bragging at all...I'm good at what I do and indeed hope to land such a job eventually.

I'll pass. Turning an enjoyable hobby into a 9-5 grind working for somebody else is a great way to stop enjoying that hobby.

Peavey. I like their business model and I greatly admire Hartley Peavey.
Only deal breaker... I KNOW my wife wouldn't be down with living in Mississippi.

Taylor: Great guitars, and they get almost 3 weeks paid time off at the end of every year. From mid December to the first week of January. That tells me they probably treat their people right. Every Taylor employee I have ever talked to is always very nice and seems like they are enjoying what they are doing.
Ibanez: I grew up playing their guitars and love a lot of the artists they work with. They also build great guitars and come out with great new stuff every year. I would love to be a part of their artist relations team and their R&D team.
Anderson: I just want to work with Roy. Seems like an amazing guy and they make great guitars.
Boogie: Again, grew up with their stuff and I like their companies policies/way of doing things and a lot of artists they work with.

Hamer. Even in their scaled-back existence I'd still love to work there. Make me the test and setup guy and I'd be stoked.
Zion. I'd promote the daylights out of those guitars.

ESP - probably the best all around electric guitar company right now. A&R, R&D...something "glamorous" like that. every year i'm finding something else to like about that company.

Ernie Ball/ Musicman as a graphic designer. I love their kitschy psuedo-70's design style, and I would love to design for them.

Line 6. They are going to take over the world. Maybe I could do double duty in the legal department and product development.
I saw a job for an IT guy at Fender (technically Kamen) in CT. I thought about applying, but they don't really pay that well.

Yeah, I'd have a coupla dozen additional design change suggestions for them, too!
My last day job: Parker gtrs. First hired, first fired. What I learned: never work under a tortured genius/perfectionist who cannot delegate authority, wants his every desire telepathically anticipated, and sighs and rolls his eyes at every task performed no matter how successfully accomplished.

Ibanez, and then start a division dedicated to doing vintage re-issues the RIGHT way (high quality but affordable) and build their vintage cred amongst younger guitarists.
Just say no to pointy guitars (except the Iceman, V, and Destroyer)!

I'd work for Guild Guitars, which since they are owned by Fender, would allow me to get the Guilds I wanted and work for the company I have a passion for, while getting discounts on Fender guitars!
