I plugged in last night and played for a while, then I noticed the V.P.R. switch was on, so I took it of and when I did, I got a high pitched squeal coming out of it, I was trying a new pedal out and so I thought maybe it was that, but I got it even when I went directly from my guitar to the amp.
I have switched out the speakers to V30s and cut into a Monster Studio 1000 speaker cable to replace the stock one. I run a Monster Performer patch cable through the effects loop to use the FX channel as a boost. As I was typing this I remebered the loop level switch was pressed in, so could that be it? I don't know, i'm in a panic, cause I really don't have the coin to drop on a repair right now. Can anybody help me trouble shoot or fix this?

Try running it without the FX loop jumpered first.

If that doesn't cure it, you probably have a microphonic preamp tube if everything else seems to be OK.

Thanks, I'll try it as soon as I get home.

If anyone cares, i took the jumper out of the loop and it stopped, so i put it back in and turned off the loop level switch and it went away, so I must have hit it accidentally. Thanks for the help.:D
