I'll skip the rant.

I'm trying to sell a house in Converse and need a Realtor that:

Returns calls.
Schedules an Open House.
Returns calls.
Shows up for the scheduled Open House.
Returns emails.
Follows up with potential buyer's agents.
Actually wants to sell the damn house.

I'm in California, the house is empty, showing is easy, communication is a must.
All referrals welcome.

Man as shitty as the housing market is you would think people would bend over backward to get clients and make them happy. I hope you find someone that can fill the bill.

Exactly. Especially since ain't no one gettin' the money until a deal is done.
I'm trying very hard not to assume things are just done differently by Realtors out there...but we've gotten a couple referrals from people we know "Oh yes so and so is a great agent."

Um, no.

Real Estate here is cutthroat, up market, down market, doesn't matter. Agents hustle or starve. So far we have not found that to be the case in the San Antonio area.

Lots of realtors in the SA area are "part-timers". It helps to find someone who actually pays all their bills selling homes, you'll see a little more hustle.
