I just got the pics of my new completed Tradition from Scott. I can't wait to play it! I will give a tone report sometime after I get it, but from what Scott has told me, he said it is wicked. This is my 2nd Tradition, and they totally rock.

Wolfetones with Aged Nickel Covers. I spec'd and bought them from Wolfe and he sent them to Scott.

I remain very impressed with Scott's work. Eventually when $$$ issues allow I plan on having him build me something. I emailed Scott recently just to get an idea in terms of pricing and possibilities and he seemed very cool to deal with and his prices are more than reasonable... someday, hopefully, for me
congrats on that beautiful new Tradition and congrats Scott on your great work

Scott Heatley's a thief!!!! I sent him a deposit 3 years ago for a Tradition. 3 years later, no guitar. Turns out he spent it all on p*ssy and beer. :D
Man, that is one sweet guitar. Mine should be done in the next few weeks...can't wait!!!!!
Scott's the man.

I'm really diggin the Heatley's that I've been seeing lately... and from the images on the web site.
I'm going to be in the market for a T-type guitar soon... the Heatley T-type is definitely at the top of my list.

If I ever go for that shape of guitar, Scott is getting my call. I have never failed to be amazed at what I see coming from him. Congrats - that is a spectacular guitar.

If I ever go for a LP type guitar, Scott will be the builder.
That finish is so sweet. Love the clean fretboard too and the headstock, etc.....lol.

Thanks fellas! My personal preference is have my guitars be as natural as possible, so I try to avoid inlays when at all possible. I love the look of a really nice fretboard on a guitar. I am also having a Driskill made right now, and that will have no inlays as well. When I ordered it without any inlays, Joe Driskill told me that I was his hero! (Look at many guitars of his). Not to mention it gets done faster and is cheaper!!!

9!! I guess you have been in the club for quite some time -- my bad. I can see why you would want to own so many. Scott's guitars are top shelf and he is a great guy to work with.
Again, congrats on a real beauty!!
Rob
PS I will be able to welcome you to the Driskill club eventually though!!

The club is open to all! You just have to send me your Heatleys to play with and inspect before you can join! :D
I will join the Driskill club as soon as my guitar is finished, so I'll let you know...someday. :p

Thanks bro. I'm sure I will enjoy it very much, as I do the rest of Mr. Heatley's creations. Scott really brought my idea for this guitar to life.

I will buy a Heatley or a Suhr. Just not sure. I have 2 humbucker guitars, Epiphone Elitist my #1 and a PRS Custom 22. I just can't decide!

They are both great builders. Different styles of guitars, but both great. Whatever you decide based on what you want in your next guitar will be the right decision...and if not, buy both! :D

Well, after playing this beast for a little while now, I must say, I couldn't have spent my money any better. Not that I would expect anything different from Scott, but still. I wanted to update my tone report because I have had more time to play with it and have played it through my newer Fuchs and Fender amps. The weight and color are exactly what I asked for, and the Wofetone pups are really nice. Those of you who have or have played Scott's guitars know what I'm talking about. I love the LP body style, and Scott's Tradition is just perfect for me. Now I have other guitars that Scott is building for me to wait impatiently for. :D
