Talked to Bob on the phone today and pulled the trigger one of his custom cabinets. Cool guy, great looking stuff.
He is making me a downsized 112 pine cab with a tilted baffle for projecting the sound upwards rather than straight. Lookin' forward to this cab.
Just thought I'd share :D
Any Bob Burt cabinet fans out there ?
Cheers

My Bob Burt Vfront is in route as we speek,I am excited!
I have one of his 1x12 detuned cabinets on order. I can wait to get it.
Bob's one of the best. His service and expertise are top notch, too!.
I'm looking forward to hearing both of your reviews...
Thanks,
Dave

I recently got a killer 2x12 V-Front in Antique pine from a forum member and it is the best cab I've ever owned! The quality is top notch and the sounds are amazing, you won't be dissapointed!!!

Bob makes great stuff...I have #4 of his V12 cabs. It has seen probably 500+ gigs now and has always sounded great. The piece where the 1/4" input is attached has separated from the sides now (glue joint) but I can probably glue it back right.
I'm not complaining though as it has been pummeled for a long time now with loud guitar, still looks pretty good too despite all the hauling. If/when I were shopping for another cab I would call B.B. first.
That reminds me, I owe him an online review...
Anyhoo, two thumbs up from me.

Bob is the best!
I've got a 1-12 oval open back, a 1-12 closed back, front ports - they stack on top of one another like leggo blocks.
Bob also built me a cabinet that I designed... Twin 1012V - 2-10s & 2-12s, slightly smaller than a 4-12.
All cabinets are antique pine with a beautiful finish.
They look and sound fabulous!

Definately on my wish list!
I'd love to have both a V front 2x12, and a tilted baffle 2x12.
Different speakers and such to suit the room.

Bob's stuff is awesome.
I did sell my V2x10 but it wasn't because I didn't like it, if finances allowed I would've kept it.
I love Bob & his 2 12 v front cab.
Check out my new Wizard clips.
You'll hear Bob's cab.

antique pine, open back, 1x12 box for my Fuchs ODS-30 / Tone Tubby H1E combo. lightweight, resonant, and HUGE sounding.
mine has the slanted baffle, and it works surprisingly well. i had bought a used Fuchs 1x12 combo box that's similar dimensions, and under similar gigging situations, i was surprised at how much bigger the sound was. also, seemed like more sound was hitting my ears. wasnt quite as punchie as the usual Fuchs cab, but again, the size and bigness of the tone was pretty apparent.

You couldn't have made a better choice of cabinet makers. Bob is a true craftsman, as well as a person of high integrity. You will be well pleased from the moment you recieve your cab. Bob packs to insure safe arrival, and is great with follow up to insure you're happy. All that, and his designs sound as good as they look.

Hey guys...still have your Bob Burt cabs after these past few years? Are you still loving them? Just curious to see who still owns the same equipment around here after three years or so LOL! :munch

I've been using a B Burt 1x12 loaded w/scumback 75 HP for 4 or 5 years, for gigs and for fun. Great easy to carry cab.
Glad to see all the well deserved praise.
I keep thinking about a V-4X10 in mahogany.

I have a 2x12 like that with a couple Vox silver alnicos from the 60s and it is such a beautiful thing to see and hear that it puts the hurt on you.

Been using an antique pine Thiele-ported 112 with an EVM-12L for about a year now. I love it. Rich, warm, chimey... not super heavy either... you'd never guess it was an EV. :aok

I'm using his small, v-front 2 x 12 with 2 pre-rola 55hx G12H30 Celestions - sound great.
