How to record live sound from speakers?

I mistaken while installing audio drivers. I used CD of another Motherboard. later I installed successfully with right CD.But My Sound recording device became Realtek HD Audio Output(which should be Input). It is helpful me to record sound from .EXE.But how to do it?also tell me how to change it to Input?

Right click the speaker icon in the taskbar by the clock. You'll get a menu that shows playback or recording devices. Click recording devices and select the one that works. Probably stereo mix or input something...
