I got my Stomp Under Foot(SUF) Violet Ram's Head(VRH) pedal.

The above link can show the offical SUF VRH pedal web page.

I have been a fan of David Gilmour since 1984. I got my first

Pink Floyd's Dark side of the moon L.P. at that time.

I wanted to emulate David Gilmour guitar sounds but I could not.

Recently, I found the " http://www.gilmourish.com/ " site.

With these information, I searched, bought and used several

overdrive pedals and fuzz pedals. I found a SUF VRH pedal.

I am still working on reducing noise from my guitars, amps

and pedals. I read that the original Ram's head big muff

pedals have the same noise. Other than that, this is the perfect

pedal for the David Gilmour sound. I really love this pedal.

It has one of the best smooth and creamy David Gilmour's

Big muff sound to me. I can not describe well but it has

the vintage Ram's Head Big Muff's nuance that I really like.

I saw some other people got post cards and paper works.

But I only got a pedal and a paper box.

I am using a (wildwood guitar limited) 3 tone sunburst Eric Johnson

signature Strat., a Fender Blues Jr. tweed, a Fulltone OCD, and

a Moollon Delay with my SUF VRH.

I got on the waiting list for one of these and can't wait to try it out. I also ordered a "Pumpkin Pi" as well, figured that should cover all Muff bases for a while. I have only heard great things about Matt's Pedals

Enjoy

Thanks. I ordered a "Civil War" pedal and a "Violet Ram's Head" around 29th, January. I am supposed to get my VRH pedal around late April. But, somehow, Matt sent me the pedal about a week ago. I really love my VRH pedal, so I ordered one more SUF pedal ( a "Tri-Muff" pedal).

I bought a Tri-Muff from Matt about 6 months ago and it has totally blown me away. I routinely get tones that I had only dreamed about in the past.
I can't wait to get home and plug in every day. Best thing to happen to my playing in years...

Ive now ordered a 76 ram's head and can't wait to give it a try.
Matt does fabulous work and is extremely responsive by email and the quality of his work speaks for itself.
If you are looking for fuzz, look no further than stompunderfoot!

Can't say enough good stuff about SUF or buying from Matt.

Received mine a few days ago. I am very pleased with the VRH so far. This is an extremely articulate muff, even with the neck PU selected. Not quite as much bass as other muffs, as described on the SUF website. This is the perfect lead Muff IMO, yes it is Gilmour in a box. Plenty of gain here. I like this Muff so much that I will be pulling my Sunface White Dot NKT 275 off of the board for Ebay and adding another SUF Muff or two.. I used to own a 73 Big Muff and I think this is superior

I already have my Mayo / V4 Op amp (considering selling the Mayo, but it's donner boxed)...however instead of spending way more money on another vintage pedal I am definitely considering some of the other SUF pedals due to Kitrae's reviews on his Big Muff history site.

I have not tried other Muff's except an original EHX Rams Head and the SUF VRH, having said that I do have a SUF Pumkin PI on order and I plan to get at least another SUF Muff. Based on the VRH I just received, I would not hesitate to get or recommend a SUF Muff.
