Meet Patterson. Patterson is 11 months old, and a solid 12 lbs. When he's in a formal setting, he goes by Mister Patterson. At more casual affairs, he's OK with Mr. P., or Big P., or Big Buddy, or Buddy Boy.

Patterson likes to climb trees, then eat. He also likes to play with the other cats, then eat. Sometimes he just likes to sleep, then eat. Whetever he does, he's happy if it ends in a meal.

Thanks! Ya, it was tough... I just laid down on my couch and my wife was playing with him and his favorite toy... He'll just do flips like that for 10 minutes until he's exhausted. I probably took 20 pics to get that one :)

Our Lacey The Dog would always "mouth" our Drusilla kitten. Just put her mouth on her, hold her down, move her around, pick her up (gently). It wasn't a mean or dominant thing IMO, it was mothering her. Lacey passed away several years ago, and for several months Dru would sit on the landing where Lacey used to sit- waiting for her to come back.

We just got Trent the Greyhound last year. Dru is skittish around other animals, so we expected her to stay upstairs and hide from the dog- I think she thought Trent was a dog just like Lacey- and she tried to be best friends with Trent- I don't think Trent understood it, but he was OK but not affectionate with her...

they are tons of fun. it is like living with cato from the pink panther movies. we come home and cautiously look around for the cat. he pops out of nowhere and does a terror run through the house. it's hysterical. he plays fetch and teases the hell out of our corgi.

I had never seen a cat play fetch before. She was talkative and docile and brought great joy into my life, God I loved that cat. As far as I'm concerned there is no other breed that I'm interested in. Well maybe an Abyssinian.

mine is loud but not so docile. he is like a coiled spring. he follows me around and has to be involved in whatever i am doing. i enjoy the way he torments our corgi. a 6lb cat giving a 50lb dog a run for his money. he is our first siamese and we had scottish folds before that. i would recommend both breeds. abys are great too and absolutely gorgeous.

Here's some of the neighborhood strays, we've been feeding and housing some of them in the winter for the last three years. There are a couple of others but they're too wild to get pics of.

Charlie showed up three years ago, he had a bleeding hole in his side and someone had wrapped duct tape around his neck and tail.
