Mind blowing CGI. Truly awesome.
Great voice-overs.
A bit long but worth seeing. Fans of westerns will really embrace it.
Cool, we're seeing it tomorrow!

I might go see it. Prol' a late show if possible as it cuts down on the "kid factor" in the audience.

We saw the 7:30pm show; tons of kids but fortunately no crying babies.
If you are enjoy recreational drugs, THIS is the movie for you.
CGI is amazing... and there are a couple of very funny, laugh out loud, jokes for adults......witty intelligent stuff at times....
It is also slow at parts...and too long overall... but I still liked it. Kids enjoyed it.

That looks like it will be great, but I love a lot of animated movies (Toy Story, Up, Bug's Life, Monster's Inc., etc.)

Taking the kids Monday, as they have no school for some reason.
Might try it in IMAX.

Loved it! And I'm not a fan of animated/CGI. This was mindblowingly cool, funny and GREAT music (lots of spaghetti Western guitar). Los Lobos were involved.
I'm recommending it to all my friends, not something I usually do.

I dug the Mosrite guitar cameo appearance.

Saw it with my 3 1/2 year old and we were both totally bored. It was not clever or interesting IMO. Not bad, just not so good either. Just never really took off...
I'm usually a very easy audience too.

When I saw the TV commercial I was impressed to see a Mosrite CGI'd in great detail and the blue metalflake finish was icing on the cake!

I saw it with my wife and 7 year old girl. I think the wife and I liked it a lot more than the kid.
The visuals are great, the references to classic movies are many and entertaining. The villans are pretty freakin' intense.
It's one part goofball comedy, one part Carlos Casteneda and one part "Chinatown" and a little bit of a spaghetti western thrown in.

I just watched the DVD a few days ago, and enjoyed it even more than I did in the theater. An intelligent, adult ... well, ok adult movie fan .... movie. It riffed on a bewildering array of movies, mostly, of course, Weaterns and Johnny Depp movies, but did so in a way that didn't seem clumsily thrown together or just for "Look at me! I'm a movie geek!" kicks.
Los Lobos + Ennio Morricone (albeit by way of Hans Zimmer) + a lot of very good voice actors clearly having fun + a talking animal movie that completely undercut all the cliches of talking animal movies = weird, wonderful cinematic fun.
And, yeah, the Mosrite cameo nearly made me choke on my popcorn the first time.
"The lizard, he is going to die."
It was not for little kids, but Hollywood can't conceive of animated movies in any other way. Any movie with a colony of inbred prairie dogs who ride on bats and an absolutely chilling villain best thought of as Lee Van Cleef as a rattlesnake is just not for the Nick Jr set, even if Nick helped produce it.

I thought it was a bit dark for the kiddies, but I enjoyed it... and I'm not even a fan of westerns so probably missed some of the inside jokes.

A tour de force masterpiece on every level.
I worked in the industry for some time, and I could not be prouder of ILM.

Well-put. (And I would a little bit of Pulp Fiction, and I'm sure others can chime in.)
I usually despise cutsy 'adults will love it, too' animated voice-overs, but this is a whole 'nuther level. Very funny, very entertaining.
We netflixed it and watched it twice in three days.
I never watch a movie twice. Well, never till now.

Great movie! I didn't see it at theater, but I was blown away at how good it looked on blu-ray. But graphics aside it is still a great movie.

Our family enjoyed it. Of course my daughter (7) loved the scene at the beginning in the tank (she is a theater nerd). I appreciated the Fear and Loathing reference. :D Stuff in there for everyone to enjoy. It might be scary for anyone under 5. My son who was 5 thought the snake was "cool." Go figure.
