My PC has one set of balanced outs (a left & a right).

Can I split the outs and run 2 monitors off each channel?
That is can I get a pair of Ys and run 2 monitors on each side?

I'm assuming there will likely be an impedance problem, so no, I shouldn't do it?

Yes you can run two balanced lines per side, but not with that cord. That's an insert adapter that splits the plug's tip and ring to two separate TS jacks.

You want a TRS-to-TRS Y cord.

Opps. yep - you're right: I posted the wrong Y.

So, it'll work? Cool.
