Interesting product for iDevice users. This compliments the Guitar line-input they recently announced. For me I wish they (or someone) would just create a simple 1/4" stereo line level input for use with external preamps. This might be a nice tool for acoustic singer songwriters to get ideas down. I always liked the internal mic of the One for scratch recordings of acoustic.

Looks great. I didn't see a price on the site. Might have missed it. Has it been posted somewhere, or announced, yet?

I did not see a price either. I bet they just wanted to jump and and grab some press with the iPad 2 being released today.

"For me I wish they (or someone) would just create a simple 1/4" stereo line level input for use with external preamps" .... I agree.
for an iOs device this will be pretty great as the apogee built in preamps in all of their gear are first rate, I own/or owned a bunch of their gear, I have the ONE, GIO (hardly use and must sell) and the DUET (love it but sees little use thanks to ONEs built in MIC, I owned the Ensemble but recently sold it when I moved abroad.
I'll buy MIKE and possibly JAM to record both guitar and vocals at the same time as Apogee state they are the perfect pairing for Garageband on iPad, which is strange because I thought you could only record one track at a time on ipads Garageband, be great to record two tracks guitar and vocals.
I'm excited about this I just hope it doesn't take ages to be released like GIO which took around 6 months from announcement to retail.
