Hello,
Does anyone know from experience if the Red Witch Empress can achieve the same tones as the Fulltone Mini Deja Vibe or vintage Univibe?
Also, what about the Moon Phaser? I would guess that the Empress is closer to a Univibe, but have read conflicting reports online.
thanks!

Those Red Witch pedals you mentioned are definitely cool, but the Deja Vibe is the only one you listed that's actually a true Univibe. The RW Empress is a chorus, and the Moon Phaser is (of course) a phaser...

The Moon Phaser should be "closer" to coping a vibe tone than the Empress. The Univibe is technically sort of a phase shifter.

If you're looking for Uni-Vibe sounds I'd get a Uni-Vibe. Deja Vibe is more than cool.

Get the MiniDejaVibe. It is a great univibe pedal!

Does the Moon Phaser use photo resistors for any of its modes like the Deja Vibe?

Just tried out the Empress today, not close sounding to my gold Deja Vibe. It is a chorus not a univibe. I thought it sounded alright but was not super impressed.

Red Witch Moon Phaser sounds great in front of dirt for "Vibe" tones...

I would check out the Option 5 Destenation Rotation Single. It covers a lot of territory and is a good choice as a comprimise. I have a Option 5 phaser as well and think its actually good for a little bit of a leslie tone. Great price point in comparison to the others. I would like to own a mini deja vibe, and will most likely get one sooner or later. Just sounded like you were looking for a swiss army knife of sounds outta one pedal.

How about the Voodoo Lab Micro vibe? Isn't this one pretty much an exact clone circuit with same parts?
