This is their new video - why don't I recognize any of the guitars?
Dave's headstock looks a little too pointy to be Gibson, there looks like some kinda custom thinline tele, & the third guitar I just have no idea. I guess it's no big deal, but after hanging around this place, it's a little surprising to not know.

The thinline tele is a Trussart i think

Not sure what to make of the V but thats for sure a Tele in Dave's hands however not a stock or standard version based on what I see and as for Pat, thats one of his many custom made Hagstrom guitars which are largly Hagstrom hardware and pickups put into custom made Hagstrom bodies that are like vintage models but never really existed...

Remind me again what Pat S. does...ever?

(Dave's playing the Vee, not the Tele Deluxe. Looks like a regular Fender Tele Deluxe to me though - possibly a Custom Shop job, but looks like a normal one to me.)

Pat is more awesome than 47 Clowns wearing tutus singing Bette Midler songs at Ozzfest.

You don't **** with Pat.

I thought the tele was a Fender 72 deluxe?.... All I know about the V is that it was used by one of the Motorhead guitarists on an episode of a show (what I think was) called The Young Ones. Pat's playing a Hagstrom.

Indeed. Pat Smear is a living punk rock legend.

When I was a kid, I had a cassette dub (of a dub of a dub of a dub) of the Decline Of The Western Civilization soundtrack. I don't think I saw the movie until MUCH later. When I did, I was shocked to learn that Pat was one of the guys who in a whole lot of the interviews going on throughout the album ('the cops arrested me for being dirty and made me take a bath')

Yeah I like that song. What guitars are we really hearing is the question..;o)

I do know they used a PT 100 on some of the record.

Yes, that would be The Young Ones. Great, hilarious show.

Looks to be the same V that Campbell is playing.
