I shouldn't be interested in this pedal so early in my rig, but I can't help it.

I have the reverb, delay, chorus and flanger from them. They are really awesome pedals!!!

Im curious now that I have played these if the distortion pedals they came out with will live up to these others?

depends on how they deal with the circuit. if they are as digital as these i dont have much faith in them.

I believe the two distortion pedals are all analog. As a result, they dont use the Toneprint technology.

Rarely do I comment on looks, but that is a very attractive pedal.

does this really have "through zero flanging", like the Foxrox TZF?

It has a type of flanging that sounds like TZF. The clips I have heard of TCs version from their various pedals sound like the volume just drops out as the sweep crosses over. The Foxrox TZF has a very unique "flip" sound that occurs as the sweep crosses over and I have yet to hear any digital pedal replicate that sound. Im not sure which one is actually true to tape flanging but I prefer the Foxrox flip to the TC volume drop sound. The Foxrox seems more natural. The sounds I have heard from the Vortex are killer though and I'll probably end up with one on my board for fun. I wonder if using the kill dry switch inside will let you get cool vibrato tones without having to buy a Shaker?

what he said^

they call it "tape". im having trouble getting it to sound that good yet. been sticking to the toneprint (orianthi) and the flanger modes.

Wow, all of these new T.C. Electronic pedals are looking great.
