A couple years ago Soloway had some Headstrong Lil King Juniors made up. Slightly smaller in physical size, and then knocked down to 9watts.

Anyone have one? Have you compared it to a Princeton Reverb?

I've got one of the Limited Edition Orange PRRI's, great amp. Had NOS tubes and a Tone Tubby. But it is LOUD!

Just wondering if losing the 3-6 watts how much the volume lowers? And if anyone has switched from a Princeton Reverb to the Lil King Jr?

Thanks!

Don't have one (have a Lil King) but I wouldn't expect to really preceive any true volume drop. The reason Soloway had those made was to get "into the sweet spot" earlier. Don't think that will make much of a volume difference.

Which Tone Tubby do you have? I had a set of ceramics in a cab once and those speakers were LOUD. A less efficient speaker might be what you need to lower the volume.
