I have these 2 coming in a trade and don't know much about them. From the description the fretboards seem really flat:(
The owner still thinks they play great and I am always willing to take a chance.Anybody played one of these?

Unfourtunatly alot of people put stock in the name on the headstock...........Just the name is going to turn people off. The thought of a Company like Peavy making Top notch boutique instruments is kinda laughable..........becuase they are type cast as Buget minded good quality for the money for the working man kind of comapny. I bet though that these guitars would be a great find second hand though. I would imagine they could be had for a song.

They are good guitars, especially for what thye can be had for on the used market. The stock pickups are not my favorite though.
Again, we seem to be running side by side:)
Heres mine

I was looking at some of the Korean Limited EXP models today. And from what I've read, Both the USA and EXP versions are well liked.

Matt,
I am in between on them. They are certainly not bad guitars ,but they are not really great either. The quality seems to be pretty good.I have traded the quilt and am probably going to keep the flametop. The necks are a little weird to me.The are rounded and are narrow. The carve seems nice it fits in your hand ok,but everything seems crowded. They don't really play bad,but they are far from great playing. The Peavey pu's seem brittle and harsh. The Duncan in the neck sounds pretty good. It's all personal preference and I don't want to trash them, because they are not bad,but I really can't advise anybody to pick one up without trying it first.
