I have two - a '66 and a '67 - and they are my favorites among all my teles

I LOVE a maple cap neck !!!

Same here. I've got two that are killers, and are the most stable guitars I own. I swear that it seems I only tune one of them 2 or 3 times a year!

Got a '63 CS relic Dave's run maple cap about 3 years ago.
Yup, best Tele I've ever owned, across 30-some years.
I don't know if this neck is the only factor, but this is one tele I'll likely take with me to the end.

A touch warmer to my ear, I like them but do not like a maple neck without a stripe. Hey, I know, asthetics should not be first but as a marketeer, the people expect it. So I am in the yes camp!

Love them.
My MIC Reverend has one, so did a Yamaha PAC-311 I had.
