man... this cat is freaking great! Have you guys heard of him? I just found out about him and I'm like... "duh! where have I been?!!?!"

Cool track, but not sure it was a whoa moment for me. Nice arrangement but I really did not hear Ximo do much. Any other clips?

That rhythm section is smokin' and right on time!
And Scott...check out iTunes or Amazon.com for his clip of 'Steps'...I think you'll see the cats can all PLAY.

Is that Terreon Gully on the kit???

If so...AWESOME! If not...he reminds me of Terreon's style...which is to say...monstrous and funky!

...gotta agree, the arrangement is outstanding.

...unfortunately, I'll bet people will negatively equate his jazz talent to "selling out" instead of being "in stream."

Yeah, check out clips on Itunes or Amazon to hear it better recorded... I think the playing is killer and yes, it's the arrangement that makes me go "whoa."
