nice, I've seen him several times and still cannot reconcile what I'm hearing with what I'm seeing, the guy is a mutant, and I mean that in the best way possible! :D

The hands are moving like "cha cha cha" but the sound is going "deeedle dee deboop debop dee", like that.

Charlie don't need no steeenkin bass player. I've had the priveledge also, and I agree. he's from another planet. Plays with his mind.

Saw this thread a while back, but finally getting around to replying. Wound up getting Charlie's Steady groovin' CD first maybe a couple years back, finally saw him about 6 months ago. The show was in a small club, sat up front, and enjoyed it thoroughly. And the other two in the band, bass trumpet (often muted) and drummer were really good. Sure sounded like more than three musicians.

I love Charlie Hunter. Have only seen him play live once so far, but what an awesome show. Should be a great time!
