Just got my Keeley BD-2 (Thanks Ryan!) and I'm loving it so far.
I really like the dynamics of it and how well you can go from clean to raging with just the guitar volume.
This is me noodling around, so please excuse all clams, flubs and offensive noises (intentional or otherwise).
Gear used was my CIJ Tele w/Kinman bridge pup and Fender Texas special neck (out of phase middle pos.) and my home/recording amp a Fender Pro Jnr. w stock 10" speaker.
Just for kicks I miked it with a Neumann KM184 and played at barely above conversation level.
The amp is squeaky clean so all dirt is coming from the pedal, I had the gain on the pedal maxed out the whole time.
Be warned, the file is big and contains no blues, classic rock or smooth tones.

man great tones !!
i think it's some unique playing, a fresh change from the blues/rock thing. Loved the dissonance, you should post more.

Thanks Scott, that's nice of you to say.

Just wanted to say that your playing is very expressive and emotional. I'd really like to hear your playing in a group/band context. I bet with some other "out" musicians, you could really create some very cool recordings!!
The tone you've achieved with the rig desribed is very nice. The new effect obviously fits your guitar/amp combination very well....but I hear that the Keeley stuff is pretty awesome, so I guess I should not be surprised. I also like the fact that you recorded with a condenser at low volume, so you can hear the string noise of the guitar "acoustically" as the mic is picking it up in the room. It adds to the overall tone....something more people should try, perhaps.....
Anyway....very cool...thanks for the clip!!

Yes it is.
It's not my favourite Tele pup, it sounds a little "tight" compared to some others and doesn't have the slight microphonic element that I like.
It is the best noiseless SC pup I've heard though.
Thanks for the kind words everyone, I have a rare day off today so I'm going to knock a track into shape and post it later.

That is one of the coolest performances I've ever heard on a guitar.
Where do you get the ideas, I wish I could think of those kind of patterns
Really, really great man!!
