Where do all the trem bars go?

I've been seeing a lot of strats for sale sans the trem bar. Where do they all go? Is there a trem bar graveyard somewhere? The dryer along with all the socks? Where?

A more pertinent answer might be that I've lost a couple in badly lit bars, forgot one in a gig bag when I threw it out, probably mislayed a few moving, the rest I have no idea

Not sure, but I vow to never again buy a used strat without the trem bar (and the little spring that is supposed to be dropped into the trem bar hole.
