With all thats going on surrounding 'you know who', no, I don't mean Lord Voldemort, I had a question regarding the downed helicopter. Watching some news and the media is really pushing the concern that Pakistan and China are going to be examining the wreckage, specifically the materials left behind since most all the electronics technology was destroyed supposedly. How serious of a deal is this in the grand scope of things? If they take it back and figure out what the materials are is it that huge of a deal, or more likely of some concern, yes, but more likely fear mongering on the part of the media? I have no idea where this falls on the scale of real concerns for our military, though there are probably some knowledgeable people in here.

Again, to the mods, I am just talking about the helicopter technology scenario and thats all I'm looking to discuss. Hope this isn't in violation.

Please find another forum to discuss all Osama Bin-Laden issues.

It will be impossible to discuss even only the issue of military assets falling into foreign hands without discussing foreign governments, which is inherently political.
