Is there some good alternatives to the Crate powerblock?

With effect loop?

check out the .22 caliber and I think they make a .44 as well.

Not that I've seen.
Electro Harmonix does have the 44mag thing. A stompbox size power amp.

Probably just that the powerblock isn't made anymore.
I miss mine. Gave it to a kid that needed an amp rig along with a 1x12 cab.

ZT Lunchbox and Club.... the Club has an effects loop. Both are still pretty portable for what they are.

Still plenty to be found (some in new condition) on eBay though.

I had mine stolen at a gig. It was a trusty backup in case my main rig went down. I really liked the ability to run stereo and the line ins worked great with my gnx3. Kinda miss it. Looks like they run in the low $100's on the 'bay. Of course it's a bit of a crapshoot what you'd get.

I grabbed that one. I've been curious about them since they were in production. I'll be trying it out powering my 11R into a 1x12 cab.
