Dear US friends, welcome back from your holiday. It's been business as usual here in the old continent. :(

Here's another backing from my home production:

Strart Track backing (http://www.marinblues.it/base/starttrack_backing.mp3)

Hope you enjoy it!;)

Eastern influences....:) That what happens when you record the bass for 55 minutes and then give the guitar only 5 minutes...

By the way, it was my Tokai 335 copy, not a Strat.

thanks.

These three takes were just quick amp tuning test clips. I am trying out a Swamp Thang speaker from Eminence. These are some of my first efforts with it. I was mainly messing with amp settings and mic position. Lots o' clams! Enjoy the seafood. Click and observe how to not build a solo. LOL Mix that with lack of focus due to amp soldering obsession and you this. Btw, this is my Fender 75 mod.

Ed, I'll check yours from home. Proxy block....

Thanks for listening Ed.

Thanks for the clips. You confirmed for me that the Swamp Thang is not for me, for that tone. Great speaker for Scooby stuff though.

When I removed the ST and put the Tonker in, it was a more open and lively sound/feel. I want still more open/lively.

Your EV does it for me. Then the Wizard. From Tomo's comments, I just ordered a Tonespotter looking for more highs. The quest continues....

Yeah Mike! The Swampy was still loaded in the Avatar from the clip many many months ago. I was gonan put my extra Wizard in but I felt like a few clisp for posterity. I am not the Swampy either fwiw.

I admit that I cheated and listened only to number 2!

Nice smooth tone with enough bite when needed.

Here ya go. This is a bit better. I just need to boost the highs a tad. The bass texture on this one is much more to my liking. Back to my ultra dark EVM. If it only had more extended highs! I need to record my Wizard tonight. That should be the ticket.

This one is slighty more nasal than number "2". I prefer the bite of extra bite and clarity of the "2". Just my taste.

Yep it is my HW1 strat with two old APS-1's in neck and middle plus an APS-2 flat poled bridge pickup, those A2 magnets works very good on my mapleneck strat:D
And thanks for the comment..I do think that it is a piece of pooh...but hey that is how one plays with elephant fingers....I drink a ton of water to get them back in shape, the heat and the hard work is not helping;)
