Wow, very creamy, warm overdrive. Saturated but controlled. Nice!
Very Eric Johnson sounding tone to my ear. How much overdrive was the amp producing already, before the addition of the X-treme pedal, or was the amp clean? Just curious. Thanks for posting the clips! :RoCkIn

Very nice tone and playing!
Sounds warm for a Strat, do you have a HB on the bridge?

Amp is bridged about 4 bright channel and ~2 normal channel, so clips have some powertube distortion, and no HB pu bridge, just DiMarzio vv2´s.

Very nice tone and playing. How much of the tone was due to the Bad Cat?
Do you use compression at any stage at all?
thanks,
Marin

I think tone is 40%JTM and 60%BadCat, no compression at all.

that sounds absolutely superb , id considered a JTM45 myself once but 2 horrific experiences with DSL100 and DSL50 with output transformers put me off. How long have you had the JTM45 and how have you found it for reliability ?
The Eric Johnson observations made in this thread are totally validated.
