I know I am still pretty green to the electric guitar world. But I am trying to learn. I spend too much time on the net searching out the custom makers and viewing their wares.
Either Thorn is the best one going right now or the others don't know how to promote their wares on the net.
The guitars Thorn is making are special. And I think I need to have one.

Gorgeous just gorgeous. The details the continuity of the appointments are incredible. My favorite part is the heart wood on the fret board absolutely makes it a work of the Muse's.

these days i do studio based stuff - jingles, music for tv etc so dont get much chance to gig anyway - london UK is crap for decent jams etc
so prob not but then ill go to bed with it every nite so thatll be ok - teh wife can sleep in teh kitchen with teh kat

Wow. Every detail on that guitar is exquisite and somehow the whole came together in such a way to be greater than the sum of its parts. If it's yours Oscar, congratulations.
I don't know if I'll ever own anything near that quality, but it heartens me to know that there are folks like Thorn putting out extraordinary efforts to make these amazing works of art.

Attention to every detail. that is an amazing guitar. congrats on your Thorn!
The more I look at it I realize how much attention to detail there really is. go back and look again. Did you notice the "stabelized wood covers" on the strap locks? Did you notice the Tourquise "circles" around the pick up ring screws? Inlaid top and headcap. Truely custom tuner buttons.
Simply amazing!
