Whenever I hear a riff like this, I always remember back to my freshman English class in 1988, where we read an essay by some sociologist suggested the heavy metal guitar solo was an expression of pubescent male homoeroticism.

I guess if any young male metal fans are so inspired by this clip they come out of the closet, we'll know for sure! ;)

It is great playing and tone though--I wish I could play like this, even though I'd play something other than this if you know what I mean!
