On a similar note I had a 300 and wanted to upgrade to the 500. This afternoon GC matched the AMS open box price of $450 out the door on a new sealed box 500.

Worth a shot if you want to pick one up. I wasn't sure I needed the 500 but one afternoon is enough to confirm my decision.

Yeah, they'll typically apply it in-store even if it's on the exclusion list but in this case it's not even on the list so should be no issue at all.
