Used it tonight with an 8 piece in a small theatre through my Allen Brown Sugar with a Deltalite II neo speaker.

What a GREAT guitar. I got anything out of it I wanted - fat jazz tones, liquid violin tones, the best R&B rhythm tones, nearly tele twang bridge tones. No feedback issues and sat perfectly in the mix. Handles gain perfectly. Pretty much everything a great 335 can do (which is almost everything). Also noticeably lighter than most vintage 335's and a hell of a comfortable neck cut.

Thumbs way up on this one.

These are great guitars! Loving mine more and more. I just got a Collings 290 DC S and that is also in the same league!

Yeah man, smokin guitar. I need to get the treble bleeds put on mine since I work the volume pots pretty heavily. Did you do it yourself?

Yes. I loosened up the pots and was able to do it through the F holes, but it was hairy! I use the ACME kits. Really works great. Took me 10 minutes.

You can take everything apart and bring the electronics out of the bridge pu hole too.

I would worry about the smell of burning nitrocellulose! I'll order a couple of ACME kits and get to it.

I was pretty worried and did a dry run before I heated the iron!
