Thanks a lot guys! I just recently started to get into fuzz. Never played an original '69 fuzz but this one is awesome.

I really like it for stacking. I just put it on top of my rc booster or Amp Eleven and I have a great lead tone.

Then with the volume knob, you can control how much anger you want!

I didn't mic it. It was a small club. The master was on 3:00-full and vol was on 11:00-1:00. I always have a booster pedal on.... rc boost... amp 11.... or I stack.

You using a maz as well?

Yep. Normally with an Esquire.

I haven't been playing with a full band for a few years now, except for a couple rehearsals. Mostly just duo stuff. It's been great for this work, but the last gig i did it just felt a little off, and i've been considering a ZBest or a Maz38 for more clean headroom. Like you i'm normally using something at all times as a boost, normally a COT in my case, Amp11 sometimes also.

My head tells me "completely unnecessary". My GAS-influenced ears say "What's next!!??". I probably just have to throw the amp on a chair, get it off the ground. Singer recorded the last gig on his IPhone, and half the problem is that i'm putting some stock in this recording instead of just realizing the thing was on the wrong half of the room to get anything but acoustic and vox.

Had to ask, cause you're clearing the rhythm section clearly, notes defined, tone strong. Great clip as always.

Cheers, you're welcome for the thread derailment.

Nice...it's Germanium...right?

Wonder how it handles temperature changes?

That been my problem all along...I like Germanium fuzzes but can't dial it in consistently...have great tone with it one night and the next night...it's an adventure...

Silicon fuzzes just aren't the same...

Have you compared it the 70's remake?

I did try out the '70 for a musictoyz demo. But that was a while back. I remember liking it. Can't really compare at this point. I like the octafuzz as well. Going to pick one of those up eventually....Here's the musictoyz '70 video I made....

I've even had my Telenordia germanium trem competely stop working on an outdoor gig in our summer heat. Makes me nervous about getting too attached to germ fuzzes!

Thx Mike...The 70s demo is nice but somehow I like what's going on in the live clip better...just not sure if that is only the 69 or a stack...

agreed...but in spite of that I remember that trem from the tourbox and I've been wanting to get one of those...one went for less than 100€ on ebay Germany and I just missed it...

Do you still use it?

Yeah I love it Seegs. Very fat sounding and one of those that seems to integrate with the amp really well.

I do have the RC booster after it. But I've been playing with the '69 by itself and I really like it. I'm sure it will get goofy with the weather but so far I'm loving it.

I just ordered a bone machine as well. I'm really getting into fuzz.
