Anyone using these slightly hotter wind Lollar Tele pickups?
Tell me what you think. I'm a huge fan of the Imperial buckers and was wondering about these Tele pickups.

I am using a Special T neck pickup and really like it. Very clear and articulate with a nice "woody" sound and it blends very well with bridge pickups. I did not really like the Special T bridge pickup as it was a bit "hot" for my liking.

I have a Special T bridge matched with a Charlie Christian neck, since the neck pup needs something hotter in the bridge for balance. I like the Special T a lot - fuller than a typical T bridge, with something of a P90 flavor. A bit less twang, a bit more dimension. And works great with the neck in parallel as well as series.

Great info, guys. I like the sound of the A5 magnets.
My guitar sounds great, but the mids in the bridge pickup are somewhat lacking at times, and I wish the output was a little stronger.
I'm really thinking about getting a set of these. Any other comments?

Exact same as me. Though I have to pop in a 4 way switch so I can try out the series wiring.

Sweet guitar, but they may be more fraternal than identical. Here's a shot from Alastair Miller, the builder. And the one below that was an action shot from my band's first show last year.
