I am debating between a JHS from www.jhspedals.com He makes one but not on his website...I was also thinking of adding an independent booost in the same pedal activated by another switch.
My other big consideration is the Kalamazoo. Any opinions?

I think the resounding opinion you'll hear here is that the Klone is a clean boost and the Kalamazoo is a Mid-gain OD. So, it depends on what you want.
I just got the Klone and I think it's really great. It helps tighten up and clarify my Kanji Eternity and it really pushes my JHS modded Ts9 into a smooth, boosted OD.

The Kalamazoo doesn't resemble the Klon in the slightest.

The Tone Monk Phoenix was on my wishlist a while back. Not in consideration?

Another few to consider that were on my radar:
Tone Vitamin
Illuminated OD
Pork Loin (mostly because it is cheap when used)

not familiar with the tone monk ..i will go look for some comparisons...to tell you the truth I am looking for something to send my two-rock sig 3 into harmonic sustain overdrive without a ton of gain...you know how divided by 13 amps just do that really easily? ie: rsa23
Trying to get that out of my two-rock. suggestions to me were also Xotic EP boost,Timmy

I have a Klon. The real thing, not a klone. I had a Kalamazoo for a while. I think it was very dishonest for PGS to do that video they did. You can make a lot of pedals that don't really sound the same overall sound the same at one specific setting. And a lot of stupid people ate it up, and I'm sure Sean made a truckload of money off of that. It left me with a pretty bad taste in my mouth. The Kalamazoo was okay, not amazing, but damn - I couldn't give that thing away.
I've played a lot of pedals since I got the Klon. Nothing does what it does as well as the Klon does it. I'd go with analogman's advice - wait for the new Klon. It's due out very shortly, and Bill has said he's going to try to come out of the gate with enough supply to meet the overwhelming demand.

Yup.
No clone I've tried gets it done.
Slapping myself for selling mine (especially before the prices got stupid).

Hope so.
And you better not be friends with my ex. If so, tell her I want my CD's back.

This is not a joke, I was able to setup my Mad Professor Little Green Wonder and Joyo Ultimate Drive to sound 99.8% alike at one setting. They are hardly the same pedal.
