New with multimeter.
I did the standard mods; vocal, gain, installed DPDT switch. Worked OK for a bit, the vocal and gain mods sounded good, but then it stopped working altogether. I suspect the switch but I'm not sure how to check it, using a multimeter. Specifically, what to set it on, and which things to touch in order to determine continuity. If not the switch, anything else you think it may be?
Thanks

In a DPDT switch there are actually two switches side by side, each has a column or POLE. The center is the common, The switch will connect the center to one or the other terminal alternately when switched in a typical A/B fashion. Those foot switches can be easily overheated and melt internally.
It is best to silver the terminals and wires first seperately, then melt them together which will take alot less time and heat.
