I was looking to buy a new guitar cable and my search took to this site:

http://www.prismelectronics.me/

They sell guitar/instrument cables, microphone cables, patch cables, and speaker cables. On this occasion, I was only interested in guitar cables.

You can choose between Canare GS-6 and Mogami W2524, and Neutrik plugs (straight and right angle, popless and standard).

These are custom cables, they aren't premade. I live in Plano, TX, and the address was in Richardson, TX. I called up and spoke with Jeff, the owner. He was very helpful and though they don't really have a shop set up for retail, he said I could drop by if I called beforehand.

I called and went over to a nondescript shop in a business park in Richardson. While I was there, in less than 30 minutes time, they built me a 15' Canare GS-6 cable, w/ a right angle popless plug (specifically to go into my LP type guitar) with a standard straight plug (of course, into the amp). Cost was 28.50 + tax, and since they aren't set up for retail, I paid them on the spot through my paypal account. (They also sell lots of stuff over eBay and last time I checked, their feedback rating was 100%).

Jeff has worked in the electronics business for 25 years, and has built a few amps and services amps too.

At any rate, for the price point the quality of these cables is high and even if you don't live in the area, you can easily order one from their website or through the eBay account.

Disclaimer: I didn't know Jeff before my visit, so I'm not recommending a friend, though he is more than friendly and helpful in his dealing with me. I'm sure I'll get another cable, since none of my old cables are popless and I like that feature.
