Whammy issue

Hey all, whenever I have a Whammy II effect engaged, and I take my foot off the treadle, the pitch is altered a tiny bit, enough for me to notice. I turned down the input gain and that seemed to help tracking but I am curious if there's a better way to rectify the situation. I calibrate if often, she's old.

the treadle sounds a little loose there should be a way to tighten duder

Recalibrate, but when you sweep back to the heel position, don't go all the way down. Stop short by just a leeeeetle bit.
