Here are a few tunes my band Taksim Quartet recorded a couple of weeks ago.
These are covers of Madeleine Peyroux and Norah Jones tunes.

I used my Suhr Classic into my Rivera M60, as well as an Ibanez AEL40SE into an AER Compact 60.
I would have liked to use my Heritage H535 w/Darkbursts, but it was at the repair shop for minor maintenance.
I think the Suhr does the job, though.


Everything was recorded in an evening at our rehearsal place, just using a couple of microphones into tube preamps into a Mac.

Are you sure your singer is NOT Norah Jones? :)

Actually, yes... (that is a GREAT asset when looking for paid gigs in classy places!)
