I'm wondering if there is a way to use the Lex Rotary (first) and El capsistan in stereo.... The Lex has stereo ins and outs, the El Cap, just stereo outs....only a single input. Can you use a TRS cable or something ? I really would like to have the Lex first...Thanks

Is there any way to use them both in stereo, with two seperate amps ???

Send the output from the Lex to one amp.. and the output from the Cap to another amp. There is actually a couple ways to do it.
Im using a a/b/y looper to feed a flasback into a hall of fame. Both of these however have the stereo inputs as well. Great sound flexibility this way.
I just traded a superdelay for a el cap and have plans of comparing it to a dbd.. just as soon as I can get my gear set back up. ( remodeling my studio )

It would seem that you would need to split the signal going into the Lex and El Capistan into two signals, then run the outputs into a mixer that would rejoin the four outputs back into two. I used to have a rack system that I did this with. I had a Yamaha SPX 90, Lexicon PCM 60, Lexicon PCM 70, and TC 2290, all of which were mono in, stereo out. I split the signal with a patch bay into four signals, which were routed to the inputs of the delays. The stereo outs of the delays were run into a Rane mixer, and the stereo outs of that were fed to a stereo amp and then to the speakers. I have, unfortunately, no gear recommendations for you to do that with pedals, however. I'm pretty sure it's out there, though, if you're determined enough.

I think 66 is correct if you want to use those pieces of gear together. It is unfortunate that so many pedals that ought to run in stereo don't have stereo ins and/or outs. I run a Modfactor into a RockTron Xpressions which both have stereo in and out. The Timefactor or Timeline are a bit more than the El Cap, but might be better options if you need stereo. If you want something cheaper, that are a lot of options, as cheap as a boss DD.

This is what I was thinking as well. I'm sure there's something out there. I vaguely remember reading about something when I was interested in doing stereo El Cap and Bluesky

Run two El Caps, or with a Brigadier or something ;)

I wish Strymon could figure out how to fit both stereo i/o and expression on their smaller boxes instead of either/or. Expression control on blueSky would have been great and stereo ins on the lex and orbit (in addition to expression) would have made them no-brainers for me.

This would be cool, then you could have them set to slightly different delay times, but the cost of 2 El Caps (or 1 Brig) is more than a Timeline...

You are correct! I was thinking about this option with a favorite switch going into both so that you could bump up the delay volume for solos. I love my dual stereo delay setup and I try to get it as close to an analog tape echo as possible - rolling off the high frequency of the delay completely, adding mild reverb with the highs rolled half way off. I do 300ms and 485ms hard panned and it sounds great, those are golden ratio numbers, which makes it sound very natural, but I am thinking about increasing the delay times a little, keeping the ratio the same.
