May Be a rediculous question to some, but Ill shoot it out anyway. Im from Curacao, in the Caribbean. Lived most of my life there. Moved to Dallas for 2 years in 2008. Met my wife there and just recently moved to Brazil.
Im a gearhead and could play all day. Problem is, right now its wintertime in Brazil. Im in SP. Homes do not have heaters. As a matter of fact, NOWHERE will you find a heater. Its 48 Degrees Farenheit Inside. Pretty Chilly. I cant seem to play, Fingers are still... It sucks. Being from The caribbean where its alwasy nice and warm and In dallas we had some very cold winters but everywhere was heated ...
What do I do ...

Not much you can do. I cannot play in the cold. I have Raynaud's, which means my fingers lose most of their feeling when they're cold. I've played gigs outdoor in 50 degree weather...not fun and nothing I can do about it. Tried fingerless gloves and they didn't help much.

I find that keeping the core as warm as possible helps--so undershirts, long johns, wool socks will help. If your body is hot, your hands have a better chance of staying warm.

Two hour outdoor gig in a blizzard at Killington VT this past spring

Two layers kept the body warm enough, but fingers were totally numb by the end of the set. I don't know how they still worked, but they did

Did an outdoor gig in January and nothing helped. got so cold in my core that I began to shake uncontrollably. I even had a space heater next to me.. Not doing that again.

Man I hate it... Takle a week "off" from playing and when youplay it again it feels as tho youve lost "something"... Many time that "something" meaning Talent ( At least that what it feels like to me) ... I know it isnt true, but I know yall know what I mean.... 2-3 days of playin and you're back ...

I had that same thing happen in December. Shaking uncontrollably, couldn't play. My bandmates and GF wanted to take me to the ER. They wrapped me in a couple of blankets, stuck me in the car with the heater on and I drank about 3 cups of hot tea. After an hour I was OK, but weak. Never again...

Remember those air curtains they used to use in grocery store entrances?
Someone needs to put them across/down the side of an open face/side semi trailer. Then you could heat the inside with some space units.

They had a couple of these things on the sides of the stage and they didn't help a bit. It was about 45F and windy with light rain. I really don't have an answer for the OP except good luck!
