Well I was in the chase for either a Tom Anderson or a Suhr Classic and was fortunate enough to find a TA CLASSIC!!! I am very happy with it but I must admit I am getting used to the pickups (i think they are growing on me). It plays well.....like a TA!!! Action is spot on, and almost mint condition. Here are the specs:

Model - Classic
Body Finish - Ice Blue
Body Wood - Alder
Neck Wood - Hard Rock Maple
Neck Finish - Satin Finish
Nutwidth - 1 11/16 in
Frets - Heavy
Back Shape - Even Taper
Hardware - Chrome
Bridge - Vintage Tremolo
Pickguard - Aged White
Pickups - SC1 SC1 HC2
Switching - 5 Way, Splitter, VA Booster, Pull Adds Bridge
Strings - .010-.046 Elixir strings

The color is Ice Blue and the more accurate color in the pics is the first one. It is NOT sonic blue, it is way lighter. I am glad to be in the TA club! Next a Suhr Classic!

Cool - I see it's one of the newer ones with the "wedgie " Joint.

How do you like the resonance / sustain- a step up clearly from the "non boutique " brands, would you say ?

Well the wedgie joint is solid. Does it gives it more sustain I don't know. It's it easier to play around the 15th fret? Heck yea! This guitar comes with a lot of resonance as it is and I've never owned a 4 screw plate Anderson, I want to be truthful. Where I was impressed was with the setup and tunability of the guitar. It was evident from any other of my guitars, maybe is the btfs system but the guitar tuning is remarkable. Some people say that andersons are "too" perfect, now I know why. The craftsmanship is superb. I wish the necks came tinted as I feel it will make the guitar look better. This guitar sounds nothing like a fender that's for sure and I need to get use to that fact but having said that I am liking it's own voice. The only other strat like guitar I have that can give this guitar a run for it's money is my Blade rh4. It has many of the same features such as a booster, coil stack hb, and impeccable craftsmanship. Tone wise it also give it a run for it's money. I must say I am getting used to the Anderson and I am looking forward to many gigs with it!
