Well... not my usual playing style... but was having one of those days. The gear guessing game seems to be popular. Sooooo... any guesses for this one?

Instrumental 1 (http://www.itc2.org/Music/Song1.mp3)

Like I said... not my typical thingy... but had fun doing it.

Lemme know whatcha think...

Oh... and Ed... long time to talk... if ya read this, say hi to Andy for me (Chris Flanders). Have been by to see him in quite a while.

No guess on the gear, but I liked it - spongy. The playing reminds me of early Richie Kotzen.

Sounds a bit like a Splawn modded Marshall. Good Tone!

Great clip Chris! Heard lots of early Eddie tricks in there as well....

No idea about the gear since this is not my thing either. ;)

Dodson.... spot on with the Marshall guess. It isn't modded... just a Maxon OD808 sitting in front of it.

The amps a 1976 Marshall JMP Mark II Lead and Bass non-master volume. The guitar was a 90's American Standard that I put Vanzant Truebucker Hot in... I am not much for playing double humbuckers... but like this pickup when you roll the volume back to about 7 or so (not the way this was recorded), which I assume probably sounds closer to the non-Hot version of the pickup. The cab is an absolute PoS... with vintage 30's (yeah right... what they meant was not-so-vintage 60's) which I am NOT a fan of... but I like the recorded sound I am getting... soooo :(

My usual guitar is a strat (Koa body, solid Rosewood neck and Fraylin single coil pickups - This is an unusual but great sounding strat).

Pedal Board consists of: 70's Thomas Organ Cry Baby, Phase 90 script box, Voodoo Labs Analog Chorus, Maxon OD808, Zendrive, TD-X Tube Echo, Barber Electronics Launch Lab.

Thanks for the feed back guys...

Thanks a ton Myles!

The drums were sequenced using GigaStudio with the kit 3 from the Real GIGA Drums series. I don't think I did much in the way of mixing them for this track... so no offset quantizing or velocity randomization and just bounced it all down to a single track.

They are actually pretty amazing if you take a bit of time to track them the right way.
